*Water Lillies-1: Water Liliesis not the name of a single painting, but the name of a series of around 250 masterpieces by monet. Like Van Gogh's 'Starry Night', 'Water Lillies' are themost iconic images of Impressionism. These landscapes of water and reflection had become his obsession for a long time during his career.Monet focuses on the surface of the water. The sky, with its white clouds, is reflected in the water, so the blue of the sky and the blue of the water are one. Only the presence of the water lilies helps the observer to understand that this is a reflection. *CLAUDE MONET (1845-1870) is one of the world's most famous painters, well-known today for his series of serene water lilies paintings, Claude Monet was instrumental in forging an entirely new direction for the world of art & impressionism.
